The Process Is Simpler Than You Think

Private jet charter has a reputation problem. People assume it requires memberships, long-term contracts, or a phone call to someone who knows someone. It doesn’t.

At its core, chartering a jet is a straightforward transaction. You tell us where you need to go, when, and how many seats. We handle the rest.

Here’s how it works.

Step 1 — Submit Your Request

Send us your route, dates, and passenger count. That’s it. No account needed, no upfront commitment. You can reach us via WhatsApp, email, or the request form on our website.

Most clients send a one-line message: “Munich to London, 4 passengers, 15 April, return 17 April.” That’s enough to get started.

Step 2 — Receive Your Options

Within hours — often faster — we come back with aircraft options. Each quote includes the aircraft type, cabin layout, pricing, and any relevant details like luggage capacity or runway requirements.

We don’t push a single option. You get a curated shortlist based on your route, schedule, and budget. Light jet for a quick hop. Midsize for comfort on longer legs. Heavy for intercontinental or larger groups.

Step 3 — Confirm and Prepare

Once you’ve chosen, we lock in the aircraft and send a charter agreement. The paperwork is minimal — name, passport details, and a signature. No hidden fees, no surprises.

We handle all flight planning, permits, ground handling, and catering requests. If you need transport on the ground, we arrange that too.

Step 4 — Travel

Arrive at the FBO (Fixed Base Operator — the private terminal) roughly 15 minutes before departure. No queues, no security theatre. Walk to the aircraft, board, and go.

That’s the entire process. Four steps, usually completed within 24 to 48 hours from first enquiry to wheels-up.

What About Cost?

Charter pricing depends on aircraft type, route distance, and availability. A light jet within Europe starts from around €5,000 per flight hour. Group charters can actually cost less per person than a business class ticket — especially on popular routes.

We’re transparent about pricing. No bait-and-switch, no “call for a quote” without delivering one.

Why Use a Broker?

A broker like Altavia doesn’t operate aircraft — we source them. That gives you access to thousands of aircraft globally, rather than being limited to one operator’s fleet. We negotiate on your behalf, verify safety standards, and manage the logistics end to end.

Think of us as your aviation department. Without the overhead.
